A greenfield cell plant needed 140 process, quality and maintenance engineers within nine months, in a region with almost no existing battery manufacturing talent pool.
What we did
- Built the pipeline from adjacent industries — semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and chemicals — rather than competing for a thin battery pool.
- Ran assessment centres on-site so candidates saw the plant before deciding, lifting offer acceptance sharply.
- Combined permanent hires with a contract layer for the pilot-line phase to protect the ramp schedule.
